Athena is currently paneled to accept Aetna, Ambetter, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Carolina Behavioral Health Alliance (CBHA), Medcost and North Carolina Medicaid Plans as well as some Employee Assistance Providers including AllOne and Health Advocate. She is also able to see clients with the following insurances with supervisory billing: Cigna/Evernorth, GEHA, Humana, Medicare, UMR and United Healthcare.

Master’s of Social Work from Nazareth University in Rochester, New York with a specialization in Evidenced-Based Mental Health.

Personal Interests

Originally from upstate New York, Athena moved to the Triad area after graduate school and now resides with her husband and their dog. When she is away from the office she enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, playing volleyball, reading, and exploring the local area.
